Neither animals nor elementals nor the fae are well-predisposed towards you. All attempts to improve the attitude of animals, elementals, or the fae take a -2 penalty, and they start one step less friendly than you, unless that would make them Hostile; they might not attack you on sight but they will do everything they can to make it clear you’re not welcome until you prove you deserve otherwise.

Also, you have a -2 penalty to saves against the abilities of the fae, as well as certain other creatures who are protectors of the world’s boundaries.
