Bigger, stronger, and — according to some — greater than their cousins, Men rule this late Second World. They have long lifespans and mighty bodies, and an exceptionally strong drive towards greatness, a drive to leave a legacy, that borders on psychosis. No other race has ever produced as many heroes per-capita as the race of Men, and it seems unlikely any ever will: Men, after all, do not like competition.
A Man (or Woman) gains the following racial features:
- Indefatigable: Men do not suffer from such paltry complaints such as being “tired”.
- Shadow of the Unconquered: A Man is more flexible, and less at the mercy of luck. Men make their own luck.
- Blind to the World Unseen: Men have strong wills, but they do not always bring it to bear where it is most needed.
In addition, choose two of the following traits.
- Strength of the Flesh: A Man with this trait is simply stronger than other races and can bring his strength to bear even when he shouldn’t be able to.
- Masters of the Coming World: A Man with this trait has no weaknesses and exploits every weakness he finds.
- Deathless Dusk: Death is the ending of a mortal’s journey. A Man with this trait can make sure it is a glorious one.
- Superiority: A Man with this trait is simply, effortlessly, better.
