Veil, the Progenitor
The whimsical and dangerous Lord of Sea and Sky has power over the weather and fertility, whether humanoid, animal, or plant. She is relatively easy, if time consuming, to entertain and amuse.
Edicts: Be amusing, fuck like rabbits, pay attention to the needs of others and yourself, learn fine or performing arts and practise them regularly, tend to living things whether animal or plant (or children).
Anathema: Be boring, be celibate, be a hard-ass who only knows rules and nothing about actually interacting with other creatures, be a non-farmer and non-artist who doesn’t have a life outside of their job, kill your own children
Divine Ability: Dexterity or Charisma
Divine Font: Heal
Divine Skill: Survival
Favoured Weapon: Staff or Scimitar
Domains: Passion, Confidence, Air, Trickery
Cleric Spells: [1st] Horizon Thunder Sphere, [5th] Lightning Storm, [8th] Whirlwind
Special: Worship of Veil grants you a single free cast of a focus spell once per day. Veil is capable of bestowing curses of infertility on people or on land, and also blessings of fertility on the same. A failure to respect Veil can and has end entire nations in a decade of endless rain and failed harvests. Theologians who actually study Veil have noted that she has an enormous breadth of domains, greater even than Ninanna, and that among things such as weather and fertility there is also motion, identity, mirrors, illusion, fire, and dissolution, and have speculated that there is much more to the King of Kings than her unusually secretive priestesses reveal.
Special Action: Stars Askew in Heaven; 1/day
Activity length varies
You can cast either Illusory Object or Illusory Disguise once per day. You can cast Illusory Disguise even on other creatures (range 30 ft.), though they are permitted a Will save against your class DC to resist and the effect lasts only 10 minutes. If they fail the save, they do not know that they look any different than normal.
Alternatively, as a triggered reaction when you are struck, you can appear to vanish into thin air as if the enemy had struck an illusion. The enemy is permitted a will save against your class DC to resist the effect, but if they fail, you become imperceptible to them until the end of their next turn.
