Pseudodemon — Crumble Boundaries

You gain a +2 racial bonus to saving throws made against wards, boundaries, or protective spells, and all such spells which are cast within 10 ft. per character level have their caster level reduced by 2 and their duration halved. If their caster level is reduced to 0 or their duration is reduced below 1 round (unless the effect was Instantaneous), the spell fails outright. Effects with a duration of Permanent are not affected.

Also, choose a heritage (usually depending on your descent). The ones given are descended from an Abyssal of Power Without Purpose and an Infernal of Sweet Lies, but ask if you have an idea for what you are descended from or influenced by.

Abyssal: Abyssals are not people; they are not motivated by the same needs as mortals. They are not Always Evil the way a person can be Always Angry; they are Always Evil in the same way that a person is Always Flesh. You’re not an Abyssal. The magic in your blood is still Evil, and its will is not your own. In addition to all other abilities, you can despoil by your very presence; you can rot wood, rust armor, crack shields, deface statues, scar faces, and generally destroy beauty within 30 feet merely by willing it to be so, though no more than once per 10 minutes. Hostile, non-instantaneous spell effects targeted have a number of rounds equal to your level removed from their remaining duration; if this reduces the duration to zero, it is dispelled. Also, you automatically bypass resistances and DR equal to half your level (minimum 0). It may or may not be obvious that you have personally done anything.

Infernal: Infernals are the rulers of Hell and their evil is one of insidious corruption. The best of intentions and the most innocuous of wishes can be twisted to evil; making people worse versions of themselves is the sole purpose of Infernals. You gain a +2 racial bonus to Sense Motive. Also, as a swift action, you can charm people simply by glancing at them. If they fail a Will save they are fascinated for 1 minute, or longer if you maintain eye contact with them, to a maximum of 10 minutes, and their base attitude towards you increases by one step. It is not obvious to anyone that you have done anything, not necessarily even to yourself, though those trained in arcane or planar lore may notice what has happened.
