The body of a mortal is filled with filth from the Impure World. And filth, as even a child knows, is not part of the world of the strictly necessary.

Upon taking this feat, to gain its benefits, you must boil yourself alive daily for 8 hours for 40 days with herbs that cost no less than 500 gp and pass a DC 15 Fortitude save. If you do not have those herbs you must instead pass a DC 20 Fortitude save. With GM permission you may undergo a different form of purification.

Failure deals 1d6 Constitution damage and the attempt is wasted (you may make a new attempt at any time by repeating the purification ritual, including paying the price again, if any).

By doubling the amount of time and/or wealth required, the DC of the save can be lowered by 2 per doubling (you may not double the wealth required if you are not using herbs to begin with). This doubling, unlike most Pathfinder doubling, is exponential (doubling twice results in a fourfold increase, not a threefold increase).

You may also increase the HD of your Heart Demon by 1d3 and the Heart Demon’s minimum HD by 1 to gain the benefits immediately, with no check or preparation required.

Success causes you to emit twice your bodyweight in toxic, steaming black sludge from every hole in your body, including your eyes, ears, and sweat pores.

You gain the following benefits:

You gain a +2 competence bonus to Fortitude saves; if your base Fortitude save was Poor, it becomes Good instead (you do not gain the competence bonus to Fortitude in this case). You gain an additional +2 competence bonus to saves against poison.

In addition, your posture is permanently fixed. Your stools are never overly dry or wet or of an odd odor. If you vomit, it no longer burns. You no longer suffer from plaque buildup in your blood or on your teeth, kidney stones, gallstones, or gout, and you cannot suffer from these in the future except as the result of a curse. You do not get cavities or acne, nor do you suffer from ulcers or cysts. Your nails are always clean.
