The Endless Path

The Endless Path is the Xian’s ladder of cultivation: an ordered sequence of breakthroughs that step by step lifts the practitioner — or perhaps, strands her — above the world of things that cease. Each step is a feat in the chain, and they are expensive in time or in wealth, unless one wishes to feed the Heart Demon.
