The divine hypostasis of Vele’ahamon, daughter of Mutsuki, the greatest of the Seventy. She is extraordinarily active despite her nature as something which does not properly exist, and her domain is strangely disjointed in a way that few other gods’ are, covering storms at land and sea, rainfall, crop growth, sexual pleasure, pregnancies, sea currents, wind patterns, the flow of earth blood, and constellations. The enormous breadth of her domain has led her to be worshipped in almost every society as a major deity. She is not particularly demanding and is easily placated, but the difficulty of bribing her scales directly with the means of the person doing the bribing; a peasant can get some help having children by perhaps sacrificing a goat, but even a herd of goats would not suffice for the king of a major nation.

Veil’s conception of pleasure-seeking intercourse as part of the identity of mortals, as opposed to simple animals, places her in direct conflict with Pantokra. She does not recognize matrimonial ties as valid, only direct kinship, and then only matrilineally. The patriarchal, fatherly Pantokra, then, is usually considered to be little more than an interloper, the crazy old man leading the children astray.
