Mutsuki

The Original of All Creation, She Herself, The Goddess without Name, the Shadow of the Sun, Unknown to All, the Collector, the Tapestry of Night, the Moonless Midnight, the Foundation Forgotten, That Yet Realised, She Who Beholdeth, the Enemy of Reason, She of the Silent Dark, Utterdark, the Power Perverse, Empress of the Other World, the Queen Unseen, the Goddess Unmade, Last of the Candle-Bearers, the Empty Black, the Original Dark, What Was Hidden, First of the Gods, the Shadow of the Throne, the Monolith of Fear, Keeper of the Nameless Span, etc. etc.

Also known as the Missing God, especially in the context of her altars and temples. As a primordial god, she is not Enthroned and is not bound by the Codex. She is the Inner Order who assimilates and subsumes, pulling inwards and towards nothingness, until all things are unknown and unknowable, and thus all things find completeness in herself. Mutsuki was, before any other: for the other was something born from her. Together with her other half, Hausōs, she forms Sophia, the God Split Asunder.

Mutsuki denies separation, identity, history, memory, causality, and all other things. From her all things were formed, and to her all things return. All creation is but a figment of a dying dream, and names were the First Mistake, for in naming there is imagined something other than Herself. Yet she is not Nothing, nor does she embody it, for Nothing exists only in the absence of Something which comprises Everything, and all were concepts shorn from Mutsuki.
