Leidenschaft
The Small God of Great Things
God of Passion, Love, War, and Diligence
Ever-Burning Ember, Who Burns Without Consuming, the Sword Undrawn, the Twice-Hearted, the Paired God, Lord of the Unwilled Oath, He Between the Breath, Keeper of the Polar Fire, the Small God of Great Things, the Closer of Distance
Leidenschaft is a god born of two divine giants who fused together as they ascended the Throne together for they could not bear to be apart. He is king of all those things that are born from the place beyond thought and which simply must be true rather than needing to be seen to be true.
He has the power to strengthen the Passion and will to continue of those who find their own lacking, and is sometimes prayed to by shy bachelors or maidens to find their courage, or to craftsmen or scholars who find their will to continue doing their best fading, but few great shrines to him exist, as no great sacrifices to him are ever required.
Leidenschaft despite his enormous stature is a highly personal god and state cults to him are generally misguided at best. Even so, he is difficult to forget; the pole of the night sky is dominated by the chariots of Leidenschaft and his sister Eifer.
